Our story

On the green island of Thassos, in the middle of the emerald beach of Skala Potamia-Chrysis Ammoudia, we created our restaurant.

Our philosophy is simple, traditional, family food. The smells and tastes of Sunday food. Our kitchen marries new techniques with slow cooking in a wood oven.

Our vision is to spread to our visitors, Greek cuisine and leave our restaurant as friends. Our materials are our effort, to grow our own vegetables, in combination with products of the Greek land that we find from small producers in every corner of Greece and harmoniously compose our dishes.

On a rainy day in 1994 looking at the Sea, I noticed its color: it was Green. Thus the name was born. GREEN SEA.

Opening hours: 9.00 to 24.00

We serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
